Partners make the harvest matter.
Every donated pound depends on processors, pantries and sponsors working together.
What a partner does
A partner contributes capacity the program cannot supply on its own: processing deer safely, storing and moving venison, distributing food, or helping farms learn the program exists. Partners give time, facilities and expertise.
What a sponsor does
A sponsor funds a specific piece of the work: processing fees, packaging and labeling, cold-chain and freezer space, or program operations. Sponsorship takes a cost off someone else's plate — most often the hunter donating a deer.
WHERE YOU FIT
Processors
Potential processors would agree acceptance and food-safety requirements, confirm packaged weights, and document transfers.
Food resources
Receive and distribute venison to neighbors through existing pantry networks.
Sponsors
The proposed pilot seeks sponsorship to cover approved donation processing, subject to funding and processor capacity.
Agricultural groups
Help farms learn about the program and share practical guidance.
Partner organizations shown in the demonstration are fictional. No partnership is implied. Sponsor recognition is aggregate and non-exclusive, and support never grants access to farm boundaries, hunter records or harvest data.
